A delightful, wooden chalet nestled into the side of the cliff with amazing views over the beach at Crackington Haven.
A very special self-catering chalet by the sea. Sleeps 2-4 in one double and one bunk room & cot.
Just a few yards from the beach, quietly situated right on the coast
path and within easy walking distance from a good pub and a couple of
nice cafes, imagine the wonderful possibilities a holiday at Pen Cliff
can provide.........
Watch the weather over the sea and make your own fore-caste.
WHEN THE WEATHER'S GOOD......
Enjoy long, lazy days on the beach.
Hire a surf-board and go surfing, especially good conditions in the
spring and autumn.
Walk the rugged coast path starting at the garden gate, and discover the
dramatic scenery on this part of the Cornish coast that has been
designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Take the bus that
passes through Crackington Haven to Boscastle or even Bude and walk back
along the cliffs.
Amble up through the valley beside the stream, at best in the spring when you will see carpets of spring flowers in the woodlands and hedgerows. There are endless, beautiful spots to enjoy a picnic.
On a south-facing slope, Pen Cliff has all the sunlight a day will give.
Imagine dining al fresco, on the terrace, with a spectacular backdrop of
sea, cliffs and sky. The sunsets are wonderful. With the living area
opening onto the terrace it's so easy to take your meals and drinks
outside or light the BBQ.
If you have small children, imagine how nice it would be to bring them
back to the chalet for a nap while you can read a good book or
sunbathe
in the privacy of your own garden with a view.
If the children are older, they could even have the freedom of going to
the beach while you relax at Pen Cliff. Whilst everyone should always
have a healthy respect for the potential dangers of the sea there is the
added assurance of life-guard cover during the summer at Crackington
Haven which has a reputation of being one of the safest and cleanest
beaches on the North Cornish coast.
WHEN THE WEATHER IS LESS THAN GOOD......
If you bring your wellingtons.....
You can still enjoy amazing walks and strolls on the beach.
You can relax in a comfy chair and watch stormy seas from the sitting room at Pen Cliff.
You can pop down to the pub for a tasty meal and a convivial drink.
