WHEN YOU DON'T FEEL LIKE COOKING....

We serve delicious home-cooked dinners once or twice a week and we recommend that you reserve a table in advance as we are also open to non-residents. Our own beef and lamb is often on the menu and all ingredients used in our cooking are sourced as locally as possible.

On other evenings there are several possibilities. The closest pubs are one on the junction of the A30 at Wainhouse Corner and the Combe Barton Inn by the beach at Crackington.

It is difficult to make strong recommendations as people have different criteria and places can change hands etc. During the busiest times establishments are often over-stretched and you may have to wait a while, which hopefully will not matter too much when you are on holiday. If you have found somewhere you like and would like to share your 'find' please tell us about it.

At the time of writing this [June 2008] these are the current recommendations. Reservations are adviseable during the summer months and at week-ends to be sure of a table and please ask us if you would like us to make a phone call for you.
