Lying within the North Cornwall Heritage Coast area, Lower Tresmorn is ideally situated for exploring Devon and Cornwall. Our nearest beach is the beautiful cove of Crackington Haven, just two miles by road or a breathtaking walk along the coast path from the farm.

Bude is nine miles north, with Bodmin Moor, beautiful in all it's moods, the Norman market town of Launceston, and picturesque fishing villages of Boscastle and Port Isaac, all within easy reach. King Arthur's romantic, ruined cliff top castle and Betjamen country around St Enodoc and Padstow within a half hours drive.

If you thinking of a long weekend or a short break, we are only 4 ½ hours from London, the Midlands and only 2 from Bristol and under an hour from Newquay Airport. The very good road and air links to North Cornwall make it an ideal destination for a getaway break at any time of year.

Wake up to a leisurely breakfast expertly cooked using the finest locally sourced ingredients. If you would like a little brisk exercise you can accompany Chris for a short walk when he checks the sheep and South Devon cattle grazing out on the cliff pastures and learn a little of farming life here at Lower Tresmorn.

Afterwards embark on an exciting day of exploration or take the day at a gentler pace, leave the car behind and just wander down the lane and along the paths to the beach.

The springtime in Cornwall is very special, the mild climate brings the early wild flowers to the cliffs and visiting wildlife to the shores and estuaries, combine that with traffic free roads, stunning scenery and good Cornish hospitality and you have the ingredients for a memorable stay.

Round off a lovely day with a superb home-cooked, candle-lit dinner served in the warm atmosphere of our oak-beamed dining room and cosy snug.

Rachel's dinners have an excellent reputation with guests and locals alike and are highly recommended. Lower Tresmorn does not have a table licence and so you are welcome to bring your own drinks to compliment your dinner.
